In 2021, allegations of bullying from former employees against Duchess Meghan made waves. Now an ex-employee is speaking out.

Once again, the bullying allegations made by several palace employees against Duchess Meghan (42), which were first raised a few years ago, are a topic of conversation. The reason for this is her former employee Samantha Cohen, who also worked for Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022) for 17 years. Cohen has now appeared in an interview spoke to the Australian “The Herald Sun” for the first time about the allegations, which Meghan had always firmly rejected.

New employees quit after a very short period of time

Buckingham Palace even initiated an investigation into the allegations against Meghan at the beginning of 2021, which was not completed until mid-2022. Cohen, along with nine other people, was interviewed as part of this investigation, she now confirmed. Accordingly, everyone agreed that Prince Harry’s wife (39) had created a “hostile working environment” in the palace.

Cohen continued: “I was only supposed to stay for six months, but I stayed for 18. We couldn’t find a replacement for me, and when we found one, we took them all on a tour to Africa with Harry and Meghan to tell them everything show.” But they resigned while they were still in Africa, says Cohen. She voluntarily left the Sussexes’ service in 2019.

Meghan denies the allegations

In 2021, the bullying allegations made by former employees against Duchess Meghan made waves. Buckingham Palace reportedly even hired an outside law firm to investigate and resolve the allegations. However, the results of the investigation were never made public, and the palace faced harsh criticism for a lack of transparency and secrecy. Meghan vehemently denied the allegations. Her lawyers described the allegations at the time as a “calculated smear campaign.”
