“Of course we try to bring our game onto the pitch successfully!”
The recent past shows that Salzburg and Sturm meet on equal terms. The first duel of the season in Graz was 2-2, seven of the last eight duels ended with a one-goal difference or a draw. In everyday league life, Sturm last achieved the sensation in Salzburg in November 2020; the coup in the Cup quarter-finals was only a year ago. “Of course we are trying to bring our game successfully to the pitch in Salzburg, like last year in the cup,” said Graz sports director Andreas Schicker. Although Salzburg is no longer represented in Europe, it has really strengthened its personnel in the winter.
