You can also pre-order the console in the Linz Passage, Linz Industriezeile, Linz Plus City, Vösendorf, Murpark, Wien Hitzing and Wien Mitte markets. Sometimes even bundled with Horizon Forbidden West.

5/6/22 10:02 am Select Media Markt stores are currently offering the PS5 for pre-order. So far, the markets Haid, Graz, Gerasdorf G3, Vienna Lugner City and Vienna Columbuscenter have been confirmed. If you live in Austria and have a branch nearby, you should definitely stop by there. Maybe you’re lucky and Media Markt will also take part in the campaign.

Previously, the PS5 was marked “Permanently Out of Stock” when the console was out of stock. Media Markt and Saturn may soon receive a new delivery. But it could also be that canceled consoles are released for sale again.

Although the PS5 was offered en masse, sales were a mess. Payment methods were refused or consoles canceled just before they could be purchased. At Media Markt, purchasing via the in-house app worked better than via the browser. We recommend that you already set up an account. Since Apple Pay was the only payment method that didn’t cause any complications, you should select this as the default. This way you are a few steps ahead of other buyers at the next drop.

A comparable approach has not yet crystallized for the Saturn shop. During the last sale, there were also problems with the Saturn app. As soon as we have found a solution, you will find out here.
