Will the PlayStation 5 go on sale on Amazon Prime Day?
The PS5 is sold fairly regularly on Amazon. But the drops have been declining lately, and that could change with Amazon Prime Day.
The situation on July 15
09:45 am: In the German online shop from Amazon, there has been a PS5 lull in recent weeks, even though there were signs of upcoming sales. You could only buy the console in other European Amazon shops recently.

On July 12th and 13th Prime Day took place and everyone was hoping for console deals at the bargain event. However, these did not happen. It is quite possible that the retailer wanted to focus on the other offers and saved the PS5 for the time afterwards.
If this is the case, a new drop is not expected until next week. Especially on Wednesday you should keep an eye on Amazon, because as the past shows, this is the favorite drop day of the mail order company.

It is also possible that the console is not available in Germany but is available from Amazon UK, France or Italy. You can also order from there. Sometimes an extra Prime subscription is required in the respective country, which you can test for free. A delivery to Germany is only blocked with a lot of bad luck. Just try if you get a drop.

Tip: If you don’t want to wait that long, you should stop by Media Markt and Saturn. There the console is available immediately in a bundle with a contract.
Amazon sells the console primarily to Prime customers. In the last few weeks, “normal” customers have had almost no chance. However, a Prime trial subscription is sufficient. You may soon be able to buy the PS5 by invitation from Amazon like in the US.
