CAC40: cluster 0.1% in insignificant volumes


(CercleFinance.com) – The Paris stock exchange grapples 0.1%, around 7115 points, in logically very small volumes – barely more than 150 ME traded at 10:30 am – in this Christmas session which will end at 2:05 pm.

While London also planned to close its doors at midday, other European stock markets simply did not open – like Frankfurt or Zurich – limiting liquidity as much.

If the Parisian index has just signed three good consecutive sessions of increases (+ 1.4%, + 1.2%, + 0.7%), it will probably have difficulties in prolonging such a bullish momentum today: besides the absence of liquidity, no economic indicator is indeed on the agenda, analysts’ notes are scarce, and the US equity markets will be closed all day …

In this context, Eiffage announced this morning that it had finalized the acquisition of 35% of the capital of A’liénor, concessionaire of the A65 motorway (located between Pau and Langon) until 2067, and of 100% of the capital of Sanef Aquitaine, holder of the operation-maintenance contract which becomes A’liénor Exploitation.

Icade announces that its healthcare real estate company has acquired 100% of the securities of a Portuguese real estate investment fund holding a premium portfolio of four private hospitals in Portugal for an amount of € 213 million including duties.

Finally, EssilorLuxottica, GrandVision and Optic Retail International Group BENE, part of MPG Austria (ORIG / MPG), announce an agreement providing for the acquisition by ORIG / MPG of 142 EyeWish stores in the Netherlands and 35 GrandOptical stores in Belgium.
