- There are special weapon camouflages again in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.
- In addition to the eight old collector camos, eight new camouflages are also appearing.
- However, you cannot use the new collector camouflages on weapons from Modern Warfare 2.
There are weapon camouflages again in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and shortly before the preload and release of the shooter, Activision Blizzard revealed the upcoming camos.
As the company writes on the official blog, you can’t just adopt the old camos from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, because there are also new camouflage colors for multiplayer and zombie mode.
Old camos in Modern Warfare 3
These camos from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 are also available in Modern Warfare 3.
In total, there are 18 new weapon camo sets to unlock, while 14 sets return from Modern Warfare 2. The latter are also getting new variants, so that the old camos are even available twice.
There are also some changes to the Completist camos. The old camouflage colors such as gold and platinum are also represented in the new shooter, but there are also eight more camouflages, which you can see in the gallery above.
New camos in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3
Activision Blizzard has announced completely new camos for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.
If you would like to collect all the camos, there are 12 more camos, which can only be unlocked if you meet certain criteria.
While the normal weapon camouflages can be applied to all weapons from Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3, you can only apply the special camos such as gold to the weapons from the respective game. So gold is only available for weapons from Modern Warfare 2.
