If we had to wait until September 15 to finally have the officialization of the DMZ mode, this mode à la Escape from Tarkov, from Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, it nevertheless did not have to wait very long for a large part of the missions, if not all, of the latter appear as if by magic on the canvas.
However, nothing is official at the time of writing, so we will have to take the following statements with a grain of salt, but here is what you need to know about these famous missions, in order to give you a clearer idea of what awaits you through this mode which will want to be strategic.
DMZ missions unveiled on the web
During Call of Duty Next on September 15, it was to everyone’s surprise that the developers announced that the DMZ mode would be available not via Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 but indeed via Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 . If this is good news since it means that DMZ will be playable completely for free, it was without counting on the inveterate leakers of the Call of Duty community who took great pleasure in revealing all (or almost?) of the missions that the players will have to accomplish through the latter.
It is indeed on Twitter that the leaker responding to the name of cod_sploitzimgz unveiled the huge list of quests to complete, and from what we can tell, there are a lot of them!
Warzone 2.0 DMZ Missions List
- Extract X amount of enemy weapons
– Mission Summary: Al Qatala has set up several surface-to-air missile sites in the DMZ area. Frequently there are transport planes flying over the area, SAM sites can shoot them down allowing you to collect their gear. - Capture X amount of SAM sites
– Mission Summary: We need to get information on how Al-Qatala is arming its soldiers. Bring back some of their weapons so we can analyze them. - Extract X amount of money in one game
– Mission Summary: We are short of money due to several consecutive failed operations by your fellow soldiers. We urgently need a lump sum for an upcoming mission. - Extract the Hail Storm
– Mission Summary: Uncle Sam is looking to research the weapons distributed in Saba. Collect and bring back a Hail Storm shotgun and we can use it to earn the goodwill of the Feds. There is a rumor that the Hail Storm can be purchased at specific Buy Stations. - Kill a boss and bring back his weapon case
– Mission Summary: We have received information that the Chemist has acquired a weapon case containing high value rare weapons. Find a hard drive and download it in order to find it. Retrieve his weapon case by any means necessary. - Exit with a full backpack
– Mission Summary: A mission in the DMZ cannot be considered successful without extracting sufficient resources. Fill your backpack before exfiltrating to maximize your efficiency. - Drain X vehicles of fuel
– Mission Summary: Al-Qatala plans to transport weapons using civilian vehicles. Drive nearby vehicles until their tanks are empty to sabotage Al-Qatala’s plans. - Exit with X amount of tactical gear
– Mission Summary: Get out with X amount of different lethal or tactical gear. - Kill X amount of enemies in a hydroelectric plant with a shotgun
– Mission Summary: Go Hydro and approach the Al-Qatala infantry to observe their tactics. Kill them with a shotgun. You can get one from a buy station or an enemy supply cache. - Kill X amount of enemies with a Riot Shield
– Mission Summary: Enemy strongholds are often guarded by enemies well equipped with riot shields. If you manage to outflank them, you’ll have easy access to the loot they’re protecting. - Kill X amount of Special Forces members
– Mission Summary: Heavily armored soldiers will arrive if you cause enough trouble in the DMZ. We need to get information on their combat abilities, get their attention and eliminate them. - Get away with X amount of liquor bottles
– Mission Summary: Before Saba was evacuated, a famous liquor collector lived there. Looters stole and moved most of his collection all around Saba. Find some bottles and bring them back, they have great value. - Kill X amount of enemies from long range
– Mission Summary: Good snipers can eliminate enemies before they are even detected. Prove your sniper skills by taking out some Al Qatala soldiers from long range. - Kill X amount of enemies in an oil field with a sniper
– Mission Summary: The oil fields are a critical point of interest for our operation. Take out the enemies there, but don’t get too close. Get a sniper rifle from a buy station or elsewhere and use it to take out the hostiles. - Kill X amount of Operators with an Assault Rifle
– Summary of the mission: Prove that you have the skills to be useful to us. Get an Assault Rifle and use it to take out other Operators. - Kill X amount of Operators
– Mission Summary: We need to increase our influence in Saba. Eliminate any Operators you find to bolster our presence. - Kill X amount of Operators in the Quarry
– Mission Summary: Command wants a foothold in Quarry, but informants have told us of rampant activity from other factions. Eliminate some of their operators so we can settle down. - Kill X amount of Operators with a submachine gun
– Mission Summary: The weapons found in the DMZ are unreliable. Check the destructive potential of a salvaged submachine gun by testing it on hostile operators. - Kill X amount of enemies with a pistol headshot
– Mission Summary: Kill X amount of enemies by headshotting with a gun. - Travel to X amount of different points of interest (POI) in one game
– Mission Summary: We need you to familiarize yourself with Saba’s points of interest to increase our operational efficiency. Travel to as many POIs as you can and survey the area. - Eliminate X amount of squads

– Mission Summary: We need proof of the presence of enemy factions in the DMZ to gain approval for larger troop deployments. The technicians will check the background of the operator and pay you a lump sum for each plate extracted. - Complete X amount of Elimination Contracts
– Mission Summary: Al Qatala has posted several high value targets in Saba. Intercept their communications to track them down and eliminate them. - Hack X amount of drone towers
– Mission Summary: Al-Qatala has deployed drone towers to many points of interest around the DMZ. These towers provide critical information about the surrounding areas. Hack them so we can gain an informational advantage. - Complete X amount of Hunt Contracts
– Mission Summary: You can intercept enemy communications to find the location of hostile faction operators. Use this information to eliminate enemy squads. - Enter X amount of different vehicle types in one game
– Mission Summary: Enter X amount of different vehicle types in one game. - Destroy X amount of vehicles
– Mission summary: Transport possibilities are limited in Saba. Destroy vehicles to immobilize the enemy.
