Camille Lacourt and her darling Alice Detollenaere participated Monday December 28, 2020 in All in the kitchen, the culinary show by Cyril Lignac on M6. The athlete and his beauty took advantage of this forum to announce very good news: the upcoming arrival of their first child together. A few months pregnant and very comfortable in front of the camera, Alice Detollenaere then proudly showed viewers her round belly molded in a little blue satin dress before going back to the stove to concoct the recipes planned by Cyri Lignac: cocktail shrimps, avocado and grapefruit as a starter and the smoked salmon surprise bread, herb cream.
Who is Alice Detollenaere?
Camille Lacourt and Alice Detollenaere were happy and complicit throughout the evening, visibly delighted to finally see the chance to smile at them since they met in 2019 at the auto show where Alice worked as a model. The 32-year-old indeed went through a horrible ordeal a few months ago: suffering from cancer, the beautiful had to have her sick breast removed. A major test during which she was able to count on the swimming champion, who did not let go for a second. It all started last August, when the Miss found a suspicious lump in her chest. By going to perform tests, the doctors wanted to be reassuring: there was "99% chance it is nothing", they said, as she revealed in an interview with Paris Match. But the results of the biopsy turned out to be bad : Alice suffered from "Intracanal carcinoma without metastasis", fortunately not very aggressive cancer. The model was of course upset when hearing the news: "I was in tears when I called Camille. You have to tell you that my father died not too long ago of throat cancer…", she explained in this long interview.
After the shock, Alice started to get scared. Not for his contracts in the modeling, nor for his relatives, but for his relationship with the swimmer. "What worried me the most was not my job, but my relationship. I was afraid that this breast would turn Camille off.", she admitted. But Camille Lacourt is on the contrary very proud of his sweetheart who is now healed thanks to this operation.
A new Miss in his heart
The athlete and his companion, who wanted to have a child for a while, are now overwhelmed with happiness. A new baby will soon come to expand their blended family. Because Camille Lacourt is already the father of an 8-year-old girl named Jazz, born out of her love for her ex-Miss France Valérie Bègue. The two women get along well and have a lot in common, starting with their respective careers in the world of beauty queens. Like Valérie Bègue, ALice Detollenaere indeed participated in Miss France, but a few years later. Elected Miss Burgundy in 2010, the beautiful Alice was one of the 33 candidates for the title of Miss France 2011 and was on the stage of the Zénith de Caen when Laury Thilleman won the crown.
