Camille Lellouche talks about her miraculous pregnancy when she couldn’t get pregnant: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

She decided to tell everything. Or at least to tell everything to one person in particular: to his daughter Alma, born in October 2022, his little “pellet” as she affectionately calls it. Camille Lellouche confides without restraint in her aptly titled book tell you everythingto be published on March 6, 2024 by Stock editions (€19.50). The 37-year-old singer, actress and comedian tells it all. From her difficult years breaking into music, from her meeting with Slimane whom she no longer sees, from the period of confinement, from her alcoholism… Everything, she reveals everything. Camille Lellouche also confides in an intimate part of her life: her totally unexpected pregnancy. At 35, having a child is a necessity. She dreams of motherhood but senses that something is wrong : “My body started blowing strange air at me, as if I didn’t have time to wait any longer. It wasn’t the classic biological clock tune that society sings to women. It was something else, like a presentiment.

“If you want to get pregnant, don’t try naturally.”

She then consulted a renowned gynecologist, an expert in fertility. And the verdict is in: her egg production is fragile. The specialist then advises her to freeze them because he believes that she will not be able to get pregnant naturally. In February 2021, Camille Lellouche, who also talks about the domestic violence she suffered in her book, went to Valencia, Spain, to take samples for a future pregnancy. Successful operation despite everything: “Of the twenty-two oocytes, only six were declared viable.”

A few months later, she met, in Marseille, of the one who will become her companion, and whom she calls B. in her book. Reveal everything but up to a certain point all the same. Between them, the current passes. During a trip to Dubai in February 2022, the singer, coach in The Voice 2024, the show that made it known to the general public, is with an ogre’s appetite. To the point that her companion expresses doubts about a possible pregnancy. Doubt which ends up growing in the mind of Camille Lellouche. As soon as she returned to Paris, neither one nor two, she took a pregnancy test: “After fifteen seconds, I look at the test window. Two bars. Positive ! (…) I’m hot, I’m cold. I need to scream. To cry with joy. I’m going to be a mother.”
