CAN: Cameroon and Gambia qualified

The Comoros had a huge game against Cameroon but still lost 2-1, with goals from Toko Ekambi and Aboubakar. Heroic, the Coelacanthes, without a professional goalkeeper in goal, managed to reduce the score thanks to a sublime free kick from Guingampais M’Changama. For its first participation in the CAN, The Gambia once again created a surprise by qualifying for the quarter-finals thanks to its success against Guinea. Following Musa Barrow’s opener in favor of the Scorpions (70′), the match ignited with in particular a double chance for Syli national at the very end of the game, which twice shook the amounts of Baboucarr Gaye.
