The 24-year-old was going to the 70th edition of Miss Universe, an election in which she had been chosen to represent France.
On her Instagram account, Clémence Botino confirmed this sad information, saying to himself “devastated” by the situation. “The last two years have been strewn with hardships, but this one is tough”, she informs. The young Guadeloupe refers to her year of reign as an eventful Miss France: Covid epidemic, confinement and fire in the Parisian building where she was staying and which was a traumatic episode. For now, Clémence Botino is “very tired” and a “Lost taste and smell”. “Life is unpredictable”, she assures, adding that it is not “Not easy to experience this situation far from home”.
