Dominik Baumgartner was a guest at the WAC preparation for Saturday’s Carinthian Derby against Austria Klagenfurt. The 26-year-old is currently rehabilitating from a meniscus injury. “Currently there’s lymphatic drainage, towards the end of the week I want to start cycling, in two weeks with easy running,” says the defender. Immediately before his injury, there was great interest from RB New York, the club of ex-WAC- Coach Gerhard Struber. “Baumi came along with it just before the end of the transfer – not an issue for us,” emphasizes club boss Dietmar Riegler.
