It is a part of France that is not very present on the television channels that Canal+ wants to highlight. The group of the encrypted channel will launch on January 25 “Canal+ Outre-mer”, a new 100% digital channel. Accessible on the Mycanal site and available to all subscribers, this channel will only offer productions from overseas. The Canal+ group claims to want to support and offer wider distribution to audiovisual production from the Antilles-Guyana, Reunion and New Caledonia.

In concrete terms, Canal+ Outre-mer viewers will have access, when the channel is launched, to more than 80 overseas content. Among them, documentaries (including one on the Guadeloupean songwriter Admiral), but also short films, documentary series and fiction (including the Reunionese documentary series The roads of Lindigo), concerts, etc.

“Every month, your digital channel will be enriched with new programs to discover without moderation”, promises the Canal+ group in a press release. The launch of Canal+ Outre-mer had been scheduled for December 14. These programs will finally be available to Canal+ subscribers from January 25.
