While awaiting the arrival of the future flagship of the EOS R camera fleet, Canon is launching three new RF mount lenses. Three very different zoom lenses both in terms of their sizes and their possibilities and intended for photographers and videographers.

A super telephoto zoom with the widest focal range in the world at its launch, the RF 200-800mm f/6.3-9 IS USM zoom is undoubtedly the most explosive lens. Designed to withstand harsh weather conditions and working environments thanks to construction with moisture and dust seals, this lens is a weapon of choice for wildlife photographers and sports photography specialists. It is today the longest telephoto zoom in an RF mount offered by Canon.

Dressed all in white, like its cousins ​​in the prestigious L series, the RF 200-800 mm f/6.3-9 IS USM zoom is equipped with an optical stabilizer allowing it to gain up to 5.5 stops (7.5 stops at 200 mm associated with a stabilized sensor housing) and a very efficient Nano USM motorization. Its minimum focus is 80 cm at 200 mm and 4.3 m at 800 mm. Its optical formulation consists of 17 lenses divided into 12 groups including three UD glass lenses. The RF 24-105mm f/2.8 L IS USM Z dual-purpose video and photo lens brings together the potential of Canon Cinema lenses and Canon RF photo lenses. A clever mix of the RF 24-105 mm f/4L IS USM and RF 24-70 mm f/2.8 L IS USM lenses, it is above all the first RF lens model combining a dedicated diaphragm control ring and the possibility of motorized zoom control (Servo zoom) using two accessories (PZ-E2 and PZ-E2B).

The RF 200-800 mm f/6.3-9 IS USM zoom is priced at €2,399.99, the RF 24-105 mm f/2.8 L IS USM Z zoom at €3,599.99 and the RF-S zoom 10-18mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM at €399.99. The three new ones will be available from December 2023, the PZ-E2 (€1,199.99) and PZ-E2B (€1,599.99) zoom motors in March 2024.
