Capela’s playoff journey begins in New York

Clint Capela and the Atlanta Hawks are one of the positive surprises of the ten games shortened season: As the fifth-best team in the Eastern Conference, the Hawks meet the New York Knicks in the first playoff round, against whom they face three defeats in the three calculate previous season duels a chance of advancement. Capela herself can look back on a successful first year in Atlanta with new career records in rebounds (14.3 per game, league record) and blocks (2.0).

The defending champions of the Los Angeles Lakers still have to earn their place in the playoffs that start on Saturday: Due to injuries to their two stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Lakers only end the season in the west in 7th place and have to play in the so-called play-in -Game against the Golden State Warriors (8th) with Stephen Curry.
