Captain Marvel: which Hollywood star begged Marvel to hire him for this film?

To embody the role of Captain Marvel on the screen, who is the first MCU superheroine to have her solo movie, Brie Larson went through intensive training. The actress prepared for 9 months before starting filming. A necessary training for the many action scenes present in the feature film, in particular that of the train, which required 3 days of filming. The actress, who is filming here in her first action film as a lead actress, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. “I felt alive“, she launched. Besides physical training, Brie Larson also learned to fly an airplane and simulate a fight on sight, in order to be credible in the role of Carol Danvers.

For the record, actress Bryce Dallas Howard, best known for her role in the trilogy Jurassic World, literally begged the Marvel studio to hire him to embody the character of the superheroine Captain Marvel. “Oh my God, are you going to write that? You will write that, please“, she asked to his contact person on the site Cinemablend during the promotion of the first Jurassic World. “Yes, let’s start a campaign now. It would be fabulous. These films are so fantastic, with these characters so well written! What’s great about comics is that you fall in love with these characters that take you on a journey over and over again. You really get attached to it, and yes, I would love to be in a Marvel movie“, she added.
