Because a car driver was stung by a wasp while driving, he got off the road on Sunday on the A2 near St. Paul in Lavanttal (Carinthia). The man was injured.
The 64-year-old from Vienna was on Sunday afternoon on the Südautobahn in the municipality of St. Paul in Lavanttal when, according to the police, he was stung by a wasp. As a result, the car skidded, overturned and stopped on the embankment.
The injured driver was brought to the Klagenfurt Clinic by rescue helicopter. The A2 was closed for about an hour in the direction of Vienna.
