Andreas Robens claims in an episode of “4 Fists for Mallorca” to have been attacked with a knife in 2009. But there are doubts about his version of the story. That is why VOX decided to put the filming with him and his wife Caro Robens on hold until the facts have been clarified. But from the beginning.

Andreas Robens, 53, and Caro Robens, 42, are among the most famous emigrants in the cosmos of “Goodbye Germany: The Emigrants”. That’s why VOX gave the couple more airtime with a spin-off called “4 Fists for Mallorca”. In the episode entitled “The Journey into the Past” on November 8, 2020, Andreas tells of a life-threatening event.

Knife attack on Andreas Robens

In 2009 the bodybuilder was a bouncer in Hanover. In the course of a scuffle, an aggressive guest attacked him with a knife. Robens reports that he almost died in the attack. While still in the hospital, he decided to emigrate: “Now you’re running away! You can also die anywhere in the world.” A scar on his chest reminds him of the incident to this day.

It is undisputed, as the court records show, that the reality TV star was actually the victim of an attack. The question, however, is: under what circumstances?

There are two versions of the story

As “t-online” researched, Robens could have told the story on TV differently than it happened. The court documents talked about a quarrel in private life, not one with a stranger at work. So there are two versions of the stab wound. Addressed by “t-online”, the 53-year-old comments on the allegations in front of the camera, but does not want the statements to be broadcast later.

VOX reacts to the allegations

What really happened on the night of 2009 when Andreas Robens was attacked with a knife? VOX now wants to get to the bottom of this. On the Instagram and Facebook page of “Goodbye Germany”, the TV station announces:

“We have been accompanying Andreas and Caro Robens on their emigration for 6 years and are telling their story. During this time we have always worked together with both of them trustingly. During this week, we were confronted with completely surprising information that raised doubts about a story from Andreas’ past Since this story was also discussed in the program, we immediately took the corresponding episodes offline. We will now carefully examine all the information available and then decide whether to continue the cooperation. Until the final clarification, there will be no further filming with the Robens . “
