Mother of two grown sons, Carole Bouquet spends much less time with them. From now on, it is with her grandchildren that the actress is resourced when she can.
Being a mother will surely have been one of the most important roles in Carole Bouquet’s life. Married three times, the actress had two children. With the film producer Jean-Pierre Rassam, she gave birth to her son Dimitri Rassam, the best known since he is married to Charlotte Casiraghi. The second son of Carole Bouquet is more discreet. Living the paradox of having children, husbands, homes, and a life of freedom.” For years, she lived a close relationship with her two children. “In the past, I took my sons, Dimitri and Louis everywhere with me, she explains. It was in no way a constraint, on the contrary I had so much pleasure to be constantly with them.
But life made Carole Bouquet’s children a little distant from her. “They no longer live under my roof, fortunately, we are no longer in the 19th century”, she jokes with our colleagues. But the distance that has been created is sometimes hard to live with for this mother hen. “They have their own children, their family life, we see each other a lot less than before, which is completely normal. Let’s say that, now, I rather have appointments with my grandchildren”, says Carole Bouquet. She was a mother wolf for a long time, today she is a sweet grandmother. His eldest, Dimitri, has two children himself: a little Dasha, born in 2011 from his relationship with Masha Novoselova, and a little Bathazar, born October 23, 2018 from his marriage to Charlotte Casiraghi.

Like his half-brother, Louis Giacobetti is also a dad. He married his partner, Charlotte Tarbouriech, in a ceremony in La Trinité-sur-Mer in Morbihan in 2018. The same year, the couple became parents to a little Gaia to whom they gave a little sister, Palma, in 2020. “I am a working grandmother, so I have less availability with them than I had with my own children, who lived 24 hours a day at home, so unfortunately I’m not as much with them as I would like to beconfided Carole Bouquet to Gala. On the other hand, I have sons who are very good fathers and daughters-in-law who are very good mothers. These are more appointments that I have with my grandchildren, the time of vacation or travel.
