The Geeked Week of netflix ended today with a live dedicated solely to video games, whether they are adapted into series for the SVOD service, or whether they are inspired by series already produced by Netflix. We were thus able to discover Dragon Age Absolutiona brand new animated series that will keep us waiting before Dragon Age Dreadwolfwhile finding out the anime season 3 release date DOTA, which will arrive on August 11. But Castlevania was also there, with a brand new series, called Castlevania Nocturne.
Netflix’s best 2D anime is back (yes)
Castlevania has already been entitled to its series on Netflix, with 4 seasons which have continued to climb in quality, making the show one of the best game adaptations of recent years. We knew that a sequel was in preparation with new characters, and we discover today Castlevania Nocturne.
It is a very short teaser that is offered to us this evening, but it allows us to have a first glimpse of our new protagonist, which the fans of Castlevania know well, since it is about Richter Belmont.
Unfortunately, we will have to content ourselves with this meager overview for the moment since the series has no release date. All that is known is that it’s in its active production phase, and it shouldn’t be expected until 2023, at the earliest.
