Catherine Deneuve: her grandson arrested and imprisoned for trafficking in counterfeit money: Femme Actuelle The MAG

No less than 44 people were arrested on Wednesday July 15, 2020. A sprawling network of counterfeit money linked to the Italian Mafia Comorra has been dismantled in Italy, France and Belgium. In all, eight million euros in cash, and eight million euros in property were seized. As reported by our colleagues in the newspaper Point, one of Catherine Deneuve's grandsons, Igor Divetain, is among those arrested. Born September 18, 1987, he is now 32 years old. He is the son of Christian Vadim, himself the son of Roger Vadim and Catherine Deneuve, and of the chronicler of South Radio, Hortense Divetain.

Igor Divetain, "endearing and fragile"

Igor Divetain is not present on social networks. Originally from Suresnes in the Hauts-de-Seine, he posed a few times alongside his grandmother Catherine Deneuve, especially during Paris Fashion Week in October 2009. They then attended the spring-summer fashion show by designer Jean -Paul Gaultier. His mother Hortense Divetain confided about Igor in 2015 for the blog Serial Mother. She complimented the young man she nicknamed "Igorette": "Igor has an endearing and fragile side". Hortense Divetain to add about her two children: "They are remarkable in the true sense of the word! And they are beautiful. Above all, they have a sense of self-derision.".

Igor Divetain is currently imprisoned. The network in which he allegedly participated was selling fake 50 euro banknotes to semi-wholesalers. The production of a ticket costs 20 to 30 cents and its resold seven euros. They made "a crazy margin", indicates a police source to Point.
