The royals go to great lengths to look their best. But not all of their cheats are super elaborate. With this styling trick, Catherine, Princess of Wales, cheats her legs as long as a yard without much effort.
The royal colleagues from Spain have already perfected the game and now Catherine, Princess of Wales, 41, with a. Well, do you have any idea what we’re talking about? Exactly, the royals like to cheat themselves a little bigger. At an estimated 1.75 meters, Kate is not necessarily one of the smallest aristocrats in Europe, there is a bit of room for improvement for Prince William’s wife, 41, but obviously still. What she may naturally lack in height, the 41-year-old makes up for with an ingenious styling trick. At the next important royal event, impress with legs that are five centimeters longer – this is how Kate succeeds.
Kate’s styling trick: She conjures up longer legs with cream-colored pumps
Whether fitted dresses, cream-colored pumps or special jewellery: the Princess of Wales simply knows exactly what to wear to impress. Or how she optimally stages her height and stretches the silhouette by a few centimetres. The core element for extra-long legs à la Kate: the right shoes, and in cream. For example, at a polo tournament hosted by husband William at the beginning of July, the royal mother of three wore beige slingback pumps by Camilla Elphick, with which she immediately conjured up endlessly long legs.
Catherine just knows how to subtly cheat and effortlessly creates optically longer legs with her styling trick.

The calculation for this is quite simple: the almost uniform color of Kate’s light skin and the shoe makes her foot look like an extension of the leg and forms a perfect color unit instead of a usual – but unfortunately compressing – contrast. There are extra points and centimeters for the model with a five-centimeter heel and pointed toe cap, which also stretches the foot again.
This is not the first time she has used the ingenious trick
When visiting the Rainbow Center in Scarborough, Kate opted for a complete look in beige and enchanted with her pumps Ralph Lauren long legs.

At the British Royal Family’s annual Easter service in April 2023, the Princess of Wales perfected her own styling trick, choosing cream pumps by Gianvito Rossi with a cobalt blue coat dress by Catherine Walker. Her legs look super slim and super long, especially from afar. Bravo!
