Cave Story+, free game of the week on the EGS

Who says new week, says new free games on the Epic Game Store from 5:00 p.m. From August 31 to September 7, it’s Cave Story+ which lands for free on the EGS. Amnesiac but gifted, the hour is with the rebellion in this world.

A totally mad scientist has decided to use the Mimigas as guinea pigs in his monstrous experiments. But that was without counting the intervention of a young man unable to remember his past. Arm yourself with a gun, now you have to travel the world to put an end to the diabolical designs of the scientist. A rhythmic 16-bit adventure that amazes as much as it challenges.

With Cave Story+, Nicalis and Studio Pixel immerse themselves in the world of 8 and 16-bit games. Built like a metroidvania, it pits the player against daunting boss fights, different levels to explore and a whole arsenal to advance. All of this can lead to 4 unique endings that will reflect the commitment to the adventure. Once the story is completed, the game offers 6 game modes in which to let off steam, among which a boss rush and a fortress mode.

Downloading the game couldn’t be simpler! Just go to the Epic Games launcher (downloadable right here)and go to the page ” Shop to see free games this week. Then choose the game you want, and click on the ” Get to place an order.

All you have to do is go to the game library, and select the game obtained to install it! You can also claim your game directly from the site by logging into your account. However, you will not be able to install and download it without the Epic Games launcher.
