If the causes of her death have not been explicitly revealed, the Montreal Journal reports that her eldest daughter Claudette Dion had announced that she was “Aging (and) had developed memory problems, as well as hearing and visual acuity problems. ” A very difficult ordeal for Céline Dion, who had waited five weeks to organize her mother's funeral. The famous singer paid him tender tribute that evening, by dedicating her show to him in Miami. And Friday, March 20, she wanted to reiterate her tribute. On this very special day, which should have celebrated the 93rd birthday of Thérèse Dion, the interpreter of My heart Will Go On seized Instagram to spread the word to its 4.2 million subscribers.
Céline Dion reunited with all her family
“Dear mom, we all think about you a lot. Especially today, on your birthday”, writes the diva in caption of a picture of her mother, sunglasses and glass in hand. Céline Dion's thoughts also went to her father, Adhémar, who died on November 30, 2003. “I know that you are with dad and that you are watching over us. We miss you very much and we love you deeply”, wrote the now orphan star. “Happy Birthday Mom ! We love you, Céline and the whole family xx … ‘There! …’ ", she concluded. As fans reassure themselves, Celine Dion will certainly have no trouble finding a shoulder to cry on for the death of her "heroin". Indeed, if all her family is well and truly reunited, there is no shortage of shoulders: Thérèse Dion had fourteen children, thirty-two grandchildren and forty-eight great-grandchildren!
The Canadian singer had also, the day before, given her news to her subscribers worried in this full coronavirus crisis. “I am at home with my family and we take the necessary precautions to stay healthy and safe ”, had announced the mother of René-Charles, Eddy and Nelson. “I wish you strength and courage and I hope that positive news will bring our lives back to normal very soon ”wrote the star, who was forced to cancel two concerts and get tested for coronavirus. "Now more than ever, I hope the music will bring you a source of comfort and inner peace", concluded Céline Dion.
