After the Oral-B iO Series 9, it is only natural that the electric toothbrush manufacturer presents the iO Series 10, its new flagship, which incorporates a stopwatch on its base to display the brushing time to be performed. .
A fan of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the manufacturer of electric toothbrushes Oral-B is offering, for the 2022 edition, its latest BDE model, a real compendium of technology.
After presenting the iO Series 9 in 2020, the brand unveils the iO Series 10 this year. Broadly speaking, this new electric toothbrush has more or less the same features as its predecessor. The BDE is always connected via Bluetooth thanks to the Oral-B application which informs us of brushing habits and promulgates some advice concerning the best gestures to use.
However, the iO Series 10 differs from the previous model by its more imposing charging base: for good reason, it accommodates a digital stopwatch which provides information on the brushing time to be carried out. The charging station also incorporates pressure warnings as well as a light ring to indicate in real time the different areas of the mouth remaining to be cleaned.
The purpose of the maneuver is to prevent the user from opening the application each time you brush in order to view the main information, which nevertheless implies that the base is plugged in in the bathroom …
To provide insight into brushing habits, the data automatically syncs with the Oral-B app. The iO Series 10 has a display and seven different cleaning modes. It is also possible to customize your brushing through the dedicated application, in the same way as on the Philips Sonicare 9900 Prestige.
For now, no price has been communicated for the iO Series 10, but we can imagine a very high-end positioning. As a reminder, the iO Series 9 was launched at 369 €.
