ECOVACS launches into the market of stick vacuum cleaners in a very unique way with a new all-in-one product. The objective: optimal and easy cleaning of the house for all users.
For several years now, ECOVACS has managed to carve out a place for itself in the highly competitive robot vacuum cleaner market. After several very attractive entry-level models, the brand has successfully moved towards the high-end, notably with the recent release of the DEEBOT X2 OMNI, a device which convinced us. However, ECOVACS had not yet invested in another booming market, which is that of upright vacuum cleaners. It was during CES 2024 in Las Vegas that the brand today decided to enter the battle with the DEEBOT X2 Combo, an all-in-one device that combines both a robot vacuum cleaner and a stick vacuum cleaner.

This DEEBOT X2 Combo is therefore the junction of the X2 OMNI model, which we already know, and a stick vacuum cleaner which accompanies it in the box. The brand therefore wishes to offer its customers the best of both worlds for optimal cleaning. The DEEBOT a sofa.
The charging station has been revised in this sense, and a support for the broom vacuum cleaner has been added to it to store the broom vacuum cleaner and recharge it once cleaning is complete. Note that a version without the support for attaching the vacuum cleaner will also be offered, at a price that we imagine is lower.
A powerful and very connected vacuum cleaner, with the integration of the Matter standard
The DEEBOT X2 Combo robot vacuum cleaner is a vacuum cleaner offering a suction power of 8,000 Pa, for collecting waste and dust. The device is also a floor washer, with two rotating mops and the presence of a water tank. The charging station accommodates two tanks of clean and dirty water for cleaning the mops with hot water, as well as drying them, without forgetting the automatic filling of the tank integrated into the vacuum cleaner.
The True Detect 3D 2.0 navigation and mapping system is at work for detecting rooms in the house and obstacles. The DEEBOT X2 Combo also offers the Yiko voice assistant for hands-free control of the device. It is finally the brand’s first product compatible with the Matter 1.2 home automation standard, which will make it controllable by any voice assistant and home automation platform, such as Google Home and Apple’s HomeKit.
ECOVACS has not yet indicated the marketing date or the price of this complete kit in Europe.
