The firm specializing in video projectors high-end XGIMI took advantage of the show CES 2024 to reveal its two new products, the Horizon Max and the Aladdin.

CES 2024 is an opportunity for various manufacturers of tech products to unveil their new creations and upcoming marketing. XGIMI, known mainly for its video projectors, did not deviate from the exercise by unveiling for this occasion its two new high-end devices: the Horizon MAX, presented as the first long-throw intelligent video projector benefiting from IMAX Enhanced certification , and the Aladdin, a 3 in 1 video projector to hang from your ceiling.

The Horizon Max to bring IMAX back to your living room

The first product presented by XGIMI on the sidelines of CES 2024 is the Horizon Max. If it takes the classic name of the brand’s usual range of video projectors, its association with the name Max simply displays the greatest appeal of this new product: it is in fact IMAX Enhanced certified. This novelty reflects a simple desire within the firm: “ With HORIZON Max, we are redefining home entertainment, delivering a cinematic experience previously reserved for high-end projectors”announces the CEO and founder of XGIMI, Apollo Zhong, in the press release associated with this announcement.

In addition to the ability to support IMAX, the Horizon Max also stands out with two new technologies: Dual Light 2.0 and ISA 5.0. If the first corresponds to a system allowing a double light source for an additional range of colors and an experience generally close to that offered by the cinema, ISA 5.0 designates the intelligent integration of the screen into the environment which is available to it. propose. Thus, the combination of these two technologies aims, according to XGIMI, to offer both an adaptive and cinematic experience by detecting the surrounding space.

The Horizon Max is planned for marketing at the end of the year, without specifying a precise release date. As a reminder, the latest model in the Horizon range, the Horizon Ultra, was priced at $1,700: there is a chance that the Horizon Max will therefore be a little more expensive, even if we do not yet know his price.

XGIMI also unveils Aladdin, a video projector that blends into the ceiling

In addition to the IMAX experience offered by the Horizon Max, XGIMI also revealed the existence of Aladdin, a video projector whose objective is simple: to do everything, without requiring any additional purchase. Aladdin is thus a smart device to hang from the ceiling, capable of providing audio quality superior to what can usually be found in products of this type. The idea is therefore simple: offer both sound and image.

The installation of Aladdin is intended to be simple, in particular by allowing the device to blend into the decor, while offering sufficient audio quality to power an entire living room thanks to the Haran Kardon smart speaker, which would be capable of broadcasting 360 degree sound. The Aladdin video projector will be available from June in Japan, and we do not yet know its price.
