Chantal Ladesou (Le Fil d’Ariane): “I was a little scared…”, she recounts the filming with Florent Peyre

Member of Grosses Têtes on RTL, cinema, theater, one-woman show*, Chantal Ladesou is in high demand. Monday January 29 at 9:10 p.m., TF1 gives her the leading role in Le Fil d’Ariane, written tailor-made for her.

Who is the heroine of Breadcrumb that you embody?

Chantal Ladesou: She is a legal columnist who is passionate about her profession. She is a big name in her field and sometimes finds herself working on the same cases as her son, a police commander (played by Florent Peyre, editor’s note), which makes their relationship explosive. From the first episode, she is thanked by her editorial staff because she is “outdated”. I enjoyed bringing up this question. Seniors are fired even though they have the talent, experience and energy. It’s absurd.

She is pushed towards the exit in favor of a young journalist played by your daughter, Clemence Ansault. Is it a comfort or a pressure to work with family?

It’s a pleasure ! But be careful, Clémence has a very assertive personality and she refuses to let me coach her. She’s a hard worker and our complicity is a tremendous asset.

You have already worked with her and with your husband in the theater. Will he join you for a future episode?

Oh no, definitely not! He’s going to leave me alone. My work is my freedom, I don’t want it in my way! (Laughs).

How was your duo formed with Florent Peyre, your fictional son?

To be honest, I was a little scared because two comedians together can hurt each other’s noses. But he’s a sober person. He plays wonderfully and is a delightful partner.

Do you, like Ariane, hate the word retirement?

I do not know this word. In my head, I’m 12 years old. I always want to have fun. I got that from my mother, she was a very positive person. I love being surrounded by young people and they also appreciate my presence, because I don’t take myself seriously. Women my age bore me, they look old.

Finally, TF1 does not blame you for saying that you had been ousted from Mask Singer…

I always say what I think! It must suit them since they are circling me again to get me back on the jury. I’m bad at investigations but I love this program. If they want, I will come back with pleasure to find Kev Adams And Camille Combal, but also to put the mash in Laurent Ruquier!
