A student from Princeton had already tried it a few weeks ago. And today, a more elaborate tool of Franco-Canadian origin is emerging: Draft & Goal.
On the lookout for AI errors
The system developed to detect a text produced by ChatGPT relies on the errors made (for the moment) by the AI. As project manager Vincent Terrasi explains, Draft & Goal spots common mistakes made by ChatGPT: repetitions, grammatical errors, contradictions, overly technical jargon, exaggerations, miscalculations and even ” hallucinations “.
The goal, says the entrepreneur, is to detect cheating among students, fake news on social networks, fake reviews on sites, email bots, [et plus généralement] anything that allows unhealthy use of AI “.
This instrument is still in its infancy. For the moment usable with texts in English, it should be able in the next few days to work on those written in French. The team also aims to eventually be able to diagnose long texts. It also announces that it has already developed an API and will soon share its datasets.
