Laurent also denounces the suspicious timing, according to him, of the publications of the investigations into the cases of cheating, while the show has been shot for months and that spoilers invade social networks since the launch of the season. “Why does this file of underground pseudo-dinners only come out a few days before the final?”, he asks. The winner of the 2014 edition once again proclaims his innocence: “Why did I lose over 9 pounds if I ate meals every third day?” Like Claude, his friend and adventure companion, Laurent says that there have been many“intox this season”. In particular concerning the rumor of strike against pains au chocolat, information that Denis Brogniart has also denied.
A season marred by suspicions of cheating
