Check coat: This pattern makes even Queen Máxima weak

Why easy when fashion gives so much more? Best example: Queen Máxima of the Netherlands (48). During her visit to a facility for addicts in the Dutch province of Gelderland, the 48-year-old showed herself in a fancy coat creation by the fashion house Oscar de la Renta. Not only the oversize cut exudes charm, the trendy double look also made for an eye-catcher.

The special thing about the design: It combines two different patterns in one fashion piece. While half of the coat and both sleeves are held in a black and white herringbone pattern, a rust-colored check pattern, the so-called Prince of Wales Check, brings variety on the other side. You can hardly find more style.

Caro Daur presents the alternative

If the 2-in-1 look of Queen Máxima of the Netherlands is too wild, you may be able to get used to a slightly different style of coat upgrade. Fashion blogger Caro Daur (24) presented a model in Milan that is more similar to an ordinary trench coat. Here the classic beige of the coat has been upgraded with a straight check pattern in the colors yellow and blue.
