After success in the Top 10 final on Friday, Steve Guerdat also fought for victory in the Grand Prix on Sunday. He was the only Swiss to make it into the jump-off on Dynamix de Belheme at his home event, together with 6 other riders. But in contrast to Friday, he was denied the big shot. The Olympic champion had to settle for fourth place after being dropped.
Victory went to the German Richard Vogel on United Touch S, a good two and a half seconds ahead of Mark McCauley (IRL) on GRS Lady Amaro and over 4 seconds ahead of compatriot Christian Kukuk on Checker 47. The top trio made no mistakes.
