Chinese manufacturer is really stepping on the gas with new Android smartphones

After Honor was decoupled from Huawei and sold, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer turned it up a notch. Two new models were presented that offer really good value for money. Do the models also come to Germany?

Honor Play 30 Plus for 150 euros

Not only Xiaomi can surprisingly cheap Android smartphones to build. Honor is also very active in this area. With the Honor Play 30 Plus, just such a model has now been presented in China. For the equivalent of only around 150 euros, you get a 6.74-inch display with HD + resolution and 90 Hz, the “MediaTek Dimensity 700” processor, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.

So that the Honor Play 30 Plus doesn’t run out of breath, the smartphone comes with a 5,000 mAh batterythat can be recharged in a short time. But that only works via cable. There is a 13 MP camera on the back, while a 5 MP camera is installed on the front. And although the smartphone is so cheap, it comes with a 5G modem (source: Honor).

At the equivalent of 210 euros, the Honor X30 5G is hardly more expensive, but offers with the 6.81-inch full HD display and 120 Hz a slightly better screen. As a processor, there is the Snapdragon 695, 6, 8 or GB RAM and 128 or 256 GB internal memory. The main camera has a resolution of 48 MP and there is a 16 MP camera on the front. The 4,800 mAh battery can be quickly recharged with 66 watts and the operating system is Android 11.

Honor smartphones initially only for China

Both Honor smartphones will be launched in China this year. It is unknown if the Android phones will find their way to Europe. If you look at the features and prices that way, they should definitely do it. Then you would have a real alternative to Xiaomi. It is currently still unclear whether Honor might not receive a US ban.
