The two women who accuse Chris Noth, who has been married to Tara Wilson since 2012, spoke in an article published on December 16 by The Hollywood Reporter. They explained that the advertisement around “And Just Like That”, the sequel to Sex and The City broadcast on the HBO channel (and on Salto in France), had “awakened painful memories”, it is written in the magazine .
One of them says she was raped by Noth in 2004 at the actor’s apartment in West Hollywood, when she came to return a loaned book when they passed each other by the pool at the ‘building.
She was 22 years old at the time and, according to her account corroborated by several testimonies, had to go to the hospital to receive stitches after the rape. Los Angeles police opened an investigation after the alleged rape, according to Deadline magazine.
The other woman who accuses the comedian says she went on a date with him in New York in 2015. He then invited her to his apartment, where she claims to have been assaulted.
“The accusations leveled against me by people I have met here years, even decades, are categorically false”, for his part reacted in a statement the actor of 67 years. “The relations were consensual,” he insists. “No always means no – it’s a line that I haven’t crossed,” he proclaims.
Since these accusations, Chris Noth has become persona non grata in Hollywood. The production of the series “The Equalizer”, which aired on CBS, ended their collaboration and the artistic agency A3 Artists Agency terminated their contract.
