Sweet surprise: Shortly before her birthday, pop star Christina Aguilera brought her daughter on stage during a concert.
Every child is happy about such a surprise: pop star Christina Aguilera (42) gave her daughter Summer Rain (9) happy birthday on Instagram with warm words. The “Genie in a Bottle” singer also shared a series of pictures of her offspring and a video showing Aguilera taking her daughter on stage during one of her concerts. The visibly happy nine-year-old dances and celebrates in front of an enthusiastic audience in the clip.

“Today I reflect on how quickly time has passed. Those nine years have been filled with boundless love, heartwarming hugs […] and finally the joy of being on stage next to you,” writes the proud mother in her post text. Daughter Summer Rain shared according to “ETOnline” took the stage with her famous mother at Aguilera’s first show in Israel on August 10 this year.
“Every day I thank the universe for giving me the privilege of being your mom, a role that I consider my ultimate achievement,” the singer continued in her emotional social media post. Aguilera is very proud to “experience the remarkable young woman” that her daughter has become.
Christina Aguilera has been engaged for nine years
Daughter Summer Rain is born of Aguilera’s relationship with film producer Matt Rutler. The couple has been engaged since Valentine’s Day 2014 but have yet to tie the knot. The pop star was previously married to music producer Jordan Bratman (46) from 2005 to 2011. The marriage produced their son Max Liron, who is now 15 years old.
Her fiancé also shared a video of the mother-daughter appearance of his two favorite ladies on his Instagram account. “Happy ninth birthday to our little sunshine”, writes Rutler in the social network.
