Born in 2003 thanks to a short film directed by James Wan (later known for Insidious And Conjuring), the saga Saw is far from dead, lionsgate And Twisted Pictures always manage to find a way to make it last in the cinema. We were entitled to a spin off very average, Spiral: The Legacy of Sawin 2021, but THE Puzzle Killer himself will be back in a new opus.
Saw Xtenth chapter of the franchise, is entitled this week to a first trailer, to explain to us what he is going to talk about. This feature film will take place between Saw And Saw 2while John Kramer (still played by Tobin Bell) travels to Mexico to attempt experimental surgery to remove the tumor from his brain. But after realizing that it was all a big scam, he decides to create a new game for these quack doctors, with the help ofAmanda Young (Shawnee Smith). Victims locked in a dismal place, morbid games and absurd torture devices for bloody executionsthis promises a new chapter in the pure lineage of the saga.
Directed by Kevin Greutert, editor of the first five films of the license and behind the camera for Saw VI And Saw 3D: Final Chapter (Saw VIIit’s funnier), Saw X hits theaters on October 25, 2023..
