Cities Skylines 2, the latest version of Colossal Order’s city building simulator, gets a number of new features. In particular, the game offers improved possibilities for the planning and implementation of transport systems.
A wide range of transport options covers the field of urban transport. This includes buses, taxis, trains, planes, trams, subways, ships and freight transport. You can also trade with other cities in the upcoming game.
In Cities Skylines 2, each means of public transport or freight transport is equipped with a depot or warehouse. In these you create or maintain vehicles.
Prices decide choice of transport
As with the new features for city navigation, the price of public transport also determines the fastest way for residents to get to their destination. They then decide whether to use public transport or, for example, take their own car.
It will be a while before you can build your own city. Cities Skylines 2 will be released for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S at the end of October. If you are still looking for more upcoming games until the release, then you should take a look at our game release list.
