On Sunday around 4 a.m., a 23-year-old Russian hit a 19-year-old from Bad Hofgastein.
The incident, the reason for the dispute is unknown, took place in front of a bar in downtown Salzburg. According to witnesses, the Russian continued to hit the man, even though he was already on the ground, injuring him to an indefinite degree. The rescue brought the injured person to the Salzburg University Hospital. The Russian was arrested after a brief manhunt and is in the Salzburg police detention center. The 23-year-old is charged with deliberately serious bodily harm.
