Claudia Schiffer has lived in England with her family for many years. Still, she misses some typically German things to this day.

Claudia Schiffer (51) is at home almost everywhere in the world today, having walked the catwalks of major fashion capitals such as Paris, New York and Milan for decades. The roots of the supermodel, who lives with husband Matthew Vaughn (50, “Kick-Ass”) and their three children in England, are in the German province, more precisely in Rheinberg near Düsseldorf. As the 51-year-old now revealed in “Bild”, she misses some typically German things to this day.

“I miss all of my favorite German foods: Currywurst and French fries, chocolate like Duplo and Hanuta!”, Revealed the model to the daily newspaper. And “La Schiffer” apparently lacks German traditions – perhaps she would even like to establish them in England. “Saint Martin, Christmas markets, carnival!” She enumerated.

Claudia Schiffer’s life in England is “very similar to that in Germany at that time”

Schiffer still has a lot in common with the city where she grew up – even after many years in exile in Britain. “I grew up in a rural area near the Rhine,” she reported. “I still have a lot of friends and family there.” Her life in England is “very similar to that in Germany at that time”.

From Wednesday, September 15th, a new exhibition entitled “Captivate!” via Claudia Schiffer, who she curated herself. The exhibits are all from the 1990s – the time when the native Rhinelander coined the term “supermodel” together with colleagues such as Cindy Crawford (55) and Nadja Auermann (50). Due to Corona, Schiffer will not attend the opening in person.
