Poor archive management?
This revelation is published when the American National Archives, responsible for keeping the documents of American presidents, asked the courts to open an investigation into Donald Trump, said the Washington Post on Wednesday February 7. The management by the Republican billionaire of his presidential archives has been called into question on several occasions in recent weeks: the institution indicated on Monday that it had to recover in Florida fifteen boxes of documents that Donald Trump had taken after leaving Washington in January 2021. However, under a law of 1978, any American president must transmit all of his e-mails, letters and other working documents to the National Archives. Another revelation in Maggie Haberman’s book concerns the relationship between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un, which would therefore have continued after the Republican’s defeat in the presidential election in 2020, according to confidences made by the Republican to relatives.
