In the past few months, the iOS app “Clubhouse” caused a sensation. German Android users will soon be able to get involved.

It is true that it has been quite quiet around them in the past few weeks iOS app “Clubhouse” but that could soon change again. The application for audio chats, which caused quite a stir at the beginning of the year, is no longer exclusively available for iPhone users. The first Android users in the USA have been able to use the app since May 9th, after a beta version was released.

Other countries are to follow gradually

The development team announced that other English-speaking countries will follow first, and then the whole world. German users can already pre-register via Google Play. When they will finally get access has not yet been clarified. For the coming weeks, the plan is to collect feedback from the community, fix possible problems and add more functions before the app is made available to a wider audience.

The app provides international users with a platform on which they can talk or listen to lectures on all conceivable topics. For a long time the app was only available for iOS. You can only join the club with the invitation of a user who is already using the application. In the past few months, however, experts had raised increasing concerns about data protection.
