The service-public.fr site, which recorded more than 500 million visits in 2021, is getting a makeover for the start of the 2022 school year.

According to the designers, it is a ” several month project », developed in collaboration with users who may or may not be used to carrying out administrative procedures online.

A brand new service-public.fr website!

The service-public.fr web platform is the first entry point for French people in terms of administrative information. Also, for this start of the 2022 school year, the website is evolving with the implementation of a brand new version, which promises revised and corrected ergonomics, in order to better adapt to users.

Thus, in order to help users better orient themselves on the site, find all the administrative information, the approach or the tools they need, service-public.fr is now presented in the form of “events of life “. All you have to do is click on “I’m moving”, “I’m looking for a job” or even “I’m preparing for my retirement” to be automatically guided to the corresponding sections.

A simpler, more accessible, more inclusive platform

The services, model letters and simulators are accessible and grouped directly on the practical sheets, allowing a simplified search by theme, in a logic of efficiency and ease of access “, indicates the direction of legal and administrative information (DILA). The editors wished to permanently respect the charter of the main editorial principles of the site, namely: clarity, simplicity, inclusion.

The “new” Service-public.fr was built through workshops organized with users of different profiles: seniors, people in precarious situations, users with problems understanding the French language, etc.
