While Collien Ulmen-Fernandes and her husband lead a life in the public eye, they keep the life of their daughter together private. But why did the two decide to do this? Annika Lau asked and received a comprehensible explanation from Collien: “There are legal reasons for that. Because once I show her, then she is a public figure. And if she falls out of the club drunk as a teenager, then she is allowed everyone take pictures,” said the 41-year-old. To prevent that from happening, Collien and her husband have decided not to publish photos of their daughter. “To protect them from these things, to protect them from the public eye, we don’t show them at all.”
