Combination feat – Lamparter: Two wins in four hours

Two victories within four hours: Johannes Lamparter also won the second Nordic combined event in Klingenthal on Sunday. Franz-Josef Rehrl also ended up on the podium again as third.

Johannes Lamparter with a double victory and Franz-Josef Rehrl with places two and three ensured a red-white-red “Super Sunday” at the Nordic Combined World Cup in Klingenthal. In the first competition, which ended in the morning with the jumping on Saturday being postponed due to gusty winds, Lamparter was ahead of his compatriot. In the actual Sunday competition, Lamparter struck a second time, this time ahead of World Cup leader Jarl Magnus Riiber from Norway and Rehrl. Lamparter celebrated his fifth and sixth individual World Cup victory. The Tyrolean got four of them in the German winter sports resort of Klingenthal. It was the seventh ÖSV double victory in the World Cup on Sunday.
