Company of Heroes 3: new gameplay trailer with British forces

SEGA and Relic Entertainment will launch next month Company of Heroes 3, their new real-time strategy game during the Second World War, which this time will take place in the Mediterranean. Today, studios share a new trailer, focusing on British forces :

The developers detail:

The particularly complete repertoire of the British is now highlighted: the depth offered by their many defensive assets will suit both newcomers and regulars of the license. Completely redesigned in both single and multiplayer, this faction is one of four available at launch.

Almost all combat scenarios are suitable for the British. Their resilience (which sometimes comes from stubbornness), their Pack Howitzer guns, their 4.2 heavy mortars and their 6-Pounder anti-tank guns are cut to contain the German forces, while their different vehicles (Dingo Scout or armored Humber) slip easily into the heart of enemy lines in the early stages of the battle.

An army cannot be decently balanced without its elite tactical groups, specialized units that each faction can call upon in specific combat situations. The British can, for example, call on the Gurkhas, armed units made up of Nepalese and Indian soldiers whose Thomson submachine guns and Bren submachine guns prove deadly at short and medium range. Indian artillery can also come in support, with its indirect firepower. These armed groups, which perfectly complement the main units, provide Company of Heroes with unparalleled tactical depth.

The release date of Company of Heroes 3 is as a reminder set for February 23, 2023 on PC, and a port on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S has already been announced. You can pre-order the game against €56.99 on Gamesplanetwith the package Devil’s Brigade DLC as a bonus.
