Containment: 20 activities to keep your children occupied at home: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

To stop the new coronavirus epidemic, all schools and childcare facilities have been closed for three days until further notice. The President of the Republic also announced, during his speech, new containment measures, this Monday, March 26. This system, put in place by the government throughout France, for at least 15 days, aims to restrict "travel and contacts" at "strictly necessary".

All outings will therefore be prohibited except for "necessary journeys", either to go shopping, to get medical treatment, to go to work, to exercise, to pick up their children in alternate custody or even to help vulnerable people. The President of the Republic clarified during his speech that "any violation of these rules will be penalized". It is therefore impossible for parents to go with their children to the parks to slide, play in the sandboxes or play football outdoors.

Choose simple and fun activities to overcome the period of confinement

Children and parents are therefore confined to their homes for an indefinite period. Parents now have to juggle work and school at home. They also have to take care of their children, something that is not easy to do. In fact, young children have energy to spare, need to work out and get bored quickly. Parents will therefore have to be creative and inventive in order to entertain their children at home, sometimes in a limited space, because at the moment it is forbidden to go outside.

To avoid leaving them all day in front of their favorite cartoons, either in front of screens, and to help them live this period of confinement as well as possible, pick from our selection of simple, fun and creative activities to carry out at home as a family. On the program: cooking, painting, sewing, drawing, origami and many other ideas to entertain your children.
