In the practical test by COMPUTER BILD, the Dyson V15 scored very well. The strong suction power, the long battery life and the dirt detection by laser were particularly convincing. Instead of using an illuminated nozzle, the V15 makes the dirt visible with a green laser beam. Thanks to an acoustic piezo sensor and a microprocessor, the device uses the vibrations in the suction pipe to recognize the size, nature and amount of dirt sucked up. Practical: The Dyson transmits the information to the display and the motor so that the suction power is adapted to the amount of dirt. In auto mode, the battery lasted up to 50 minutes in the test.
