After the publication of his controversial memoir “Spare” (in German: “Reserve”), Prince Harry (38) and his wife Duchess Meghan (41) should still be invited to the coronation of the new English king. As the British “Daily Mail” reports, citing royal insiders, but the Sussexes are expected to stay away from the traditional May 6 ceremony at Westminster Abbey. The palace expects Harry and Meghan to “find a polite reason not to come,” a source close to the royal family is quoted as saying.
Prince Harry “kidnapped by Meghan”
According to another insider source, King Charles III. (74) personally do not expect his younger son to take part in the major royal event. The chances of a reconciliation desired by Harry are also slim. Rather, within the royal family, there is a belief that Prince Harry is “kidnapped by a psychotherapy cult and Meghan.”

Therefore, the royal palace wants the invitation process to go like this: “The family will invite, but it would be very hard for Harry and Meghan to be there, given everything that was said in the interviews and in the book.” For this reason, the palace expects the Sussexes to decline the invitation, which was only given for the sake of form.
It has previously been reported that Prince Harry is not scheduled to play a formal role at Charles’s coronation. Should the number six of the British heir to the throne take part, contrary to expectations and the palace’s wishes, he will not be involved in the ceremony.
