Count Nikolai in love on TV: Movie-worthy flirting with Benedikte in Paris

They travel around the world: Count Nikolai, 24, and his sweetheart Benedikte Thoustrup are still wonderfully in love in the city of love. The couple films themselves strolling in Paris. The two even make it onto television. A sneaker shop has set up a flicker box in the window and equipped it with a camera that shows astonished passers-by walking by on the screen. The perfect appearance for the son of Prince Joachim, 54, and his sweetheart. They use their cell phone camera to record their TV debut as a duo for posterity.

Nikolai and Benedikte have known each other since their time together at the elite boarding school Herlufsholm. They graduated from high school there in the summer of 2018. From 2019, both attended the Copenhagen Business School (CBS), went to Paris together for a semester abroad in the winter of 2021/2022 and successfully completed their bachelor’s degree the following summer in order to then start a master’s degree there. Nikolai decided to study Economics and Business Administration as well as Sales Management. In August 2023, the couple went to Australia together for a semester abroad. They are now back in Denmark. But there is always time for a visit to the place of your most beautiful time together – and when beautiful couple memories are created, not only the screen flickers, but also the heart.

They tied the knot in 2017 and their third child was born a few weeks ago: Alessandra de Osma, 36, and Prince Christian, 38, couldn’t be happier right now! Princess Beatrice: Future in the Big Apple? Husband Edo shares enthusiastic photo greetings

Well? Is there a change of scenery for Princess Beatrice, 35, husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 40, and their daughter Sienna, 2? When looking into the current Instagram story of the real estate developer, one could easily get the impression that he is moving across the pond with all his children. As a series of photos document, the Brit with noble Italian roots is currently in New York. His motifs are pretty facades and deep abysses into the Häserschluchten in the Big Apple.

But the all-clear! The pictures also include impressions of elegantly furnished luxury apartments. No wonder! After all, Edo is an interior designer and seems to be looking for inspiration professionally. Saying goodbye to Great Britain is currently unimaginable for him and his family. He is said to have recently moved with his loved ones from St. James’s Palace to the property in the Cotswolds that they purchased together in 2021. And while his wife Beatrice feels particularly committed to the crown these days due to King Charles, 75, suffering from cancer, the 40-year-old is mainly supported by his son Wolfie from his relationship with the American architect Dara Huang, 41, in England lives with his mother in London. So New York initially remains just a dream that may one day come true.

King Carl Gustaf: Court turns off comment function on Instagram

After the photo editing scandal surrounding Catherine, Princess of Wales, 42, one also became apparent heavily edited photo of King Carl Gustaf, 77, and Queen Silvia, 80, hotly discussed in the media. It seems as if the Swedish court has had enough of the harsh criticism that is currently being showered on the royals. After his latest appearance, the monarch takes surprising measures.

The 77-year-old took part in two events on Monday evening, March 18, to mark Sweden’s entry into NATO. However, his appearance not only caused storms of enthusiasm. As the king spoke during the raising of the NATO flag in the Reichstag, loud protests could be heard in the background, according to “Svensk Dam”. He was not deterred by the calls for “No to NATO,” but later the court apparently felt compelled to act. The comment function is suddenly switched off under the two posts about the two NATO ceremonies on the royal family’s official Instagram account. Commenting on all other postings is still possible.

Princess Eugenie reveals nickname: That’s what her mother calls her Sarah

In the Royal Family’s public life everything may be according to protocol, but behind closed palace doors the Windsors are in some ways like many other completely normal families. Princess Eugenie, 33, provided an example of this during a conversation with mom Sarah Ferguson, 64, on the occasion of British Mother’s Day for her initiative The Anti-Slavery Collective. A clip of the exchange posted on Instagram about the Duchess of York’s activism, modern slavery and stories of survivors reveals her daughters’ nickname for the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, 64, the York sisters’ father: “Mumsy”, another pet form for “Mum”, the English word for mom.

“You are a huge inspiration to me and Beatrice and Jules, my co-founder of the Anti-Slavery Collective,” Eugenie gushed. “From the beginning of time, before Beatrice and I were born, your mission has been to impact the lives of other people around the world. And that was a huge inspiration to me growing up.” Speaking of which: the youngest York has had nicknames in the family since she was a child. While Sarah calls her “Eugie,” her sister Princess Beatrice, 35, affectionately calls her “Euge.” The latter is called “Bea” at home, but the youngest child goes one better with the older one’s reputation, as an Instagram post on Beatrice’s 31st birthday in 2019 revealed: “Happy birthday, Beabea,” she commented on a number of things at the time Photos of the siblings. Now only one question remains: What do they call daddy Andrew?

Princess Mette-Marit and Prince Haakon are looking for a new chef

Anyone who has always wanted to work for the Norwegian Crown Prince Couple now has a chance: As “Dana Press” reports, Prince Haakon, 50, and Princess Mette-Marit, 50, are looking for a new chef for their kitchen. “We have a temporary position as a cook (100 percent) to fill from August 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024,” says the online job advertisement. It is not clear why the job is only given on a temporary basis. “The position is part of the private staff of the Crown Prince Couple,” “Dana Press” continues to quote from the advertisement. Haakon and Mette-Marit’s new employee will therefore primarily be deployed in Skaugum in Asker, the home of the Crown Princess. “A certain amount of evening, weekend and holiday work as well as travel is to be expected.”

The couple also wants meals with fresh ingredients, most of which come from Norway itself. In addition to typical requirements for such a job, the court also wants applicants to: “The right person must be loyal and discreet. Personal suitability […] Special emphasis is placed on it.” In addition to the meals that Haakon and Mette-Marit eat privately, their new chef should also be able to cater for “large and small events”.

Princess Anne: Visit to Dublin ends in great disappointment

Princess Anne, 73, was photographed in Dublin last Saturday, March 16, with a serious expression and a fixed gaze. The reason for her apparent disappointment can be found on the rugby field: As Hello Magazine reports, Anne cheered on the Scottish rugby team at the Six Nations tournament from the stands of the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. Despite the royal fingers crossed, the team had to admit defeat and narrowly missed out on winning the tournament.

Anne has been the patron of the Scottish Rugby Union since 1986 and has rarely missed a team game since then. As can be seen in the photos, the 73-year-old once again wore an eye-catching silver brooch decorated with amethysts at the Six Nations tournament. According to Hello Magazine, the piece of jewelry is an integral part of the Princess Royal’s regular rugby looks. But the little lucky charm failed in the last game: the Scots had to admit defeat to the Irish with a final score of 13 to 17.

Prince Carl Philip poses with King Carl Gustaf in the snow

Fans of the Swedish have such a recording Royal family probably not expected: Prince Carl Philip, 44, was apparently able to persuade his father to take a selfie together in the snow. The king’s son surprised everyone on Sunday, March 17th, with an appearance at the World Cup finals in cross-country skiing in Falun, for which only King Carl Gustaf, 77, was actually announced. This resulted in the extremely rare photo taken together, which was later published on the official Instagram account of Carl Philip and his family.

“Come on, go! Cross-country skiing World Cup finals today in Falun,” the royals cheer on the athletes. In the best weather and right on the cross-country ski trail, the 44-year-old and the monarch beam into the cell phone camera. The two even put on blue jerseys over their thick jackets for this special day. The fans are thrilled by this unusual sight of the father-son team. “Coolest king and prettiest prince,” enthuses one user. “What a wonderful king and prince we have,” says another happily. Another notes: “Respect to the king! Last week in the heat of Mexico, today in the cold of Falun!”
