Emmanuel Macron wants to lead the impossible life for the unvaccinated. In an interview with the readers of Parisian published this Tuesday evening, the President of the Republic did not hesitate to attack more harshly people who persist in not receiving an injection of the Covid-19 vaccine. Faced with the flood of cases (more than 271,000 this Tuesday, a new record), the Head of State assumes the choice to continue to “piss off” them.
To a question from a reader of Parisian stressing that the unvaccinated “occupy 85% of resuscitations”, which leads to a postponement of operations, Emmanuel Macron responds that this remark “is the best argument” for the government’s strategy and that, “in a democracy, the worst the enemy is lies and stupidity ”. “We put pressure on the unvaccinated by limiting their access to social activities as much as possible. In fact, almost all of the people, over 90%, have joined. It is a very small minority which is resistant ”, supports Emmanuel Macron.
The vaccination pass from January 15
To reduce this “refractory minority”, the President of the Republic is determined to “piss him off even more”. “Me, I’m not for pissing off the French. I plague the administration all day long when it blocks them. Well there, the unvaccinated, I really want to piss them off. And so we will continue to do so, until the end, ”he announces.
Emmanuel Macron refers in particular to the bill, currently being debated in the National Assembly, which provides for the transformation of the health pass into a vaccination pass. “From January 15, you will no longer be able to go to the restaurant, you will no longer be able to take a cannon, you will no longer be able to go for a coffee, you will no longer be able to go to the theater, you will no longer be able to go to the movies …”, he recalls.
Emmanuel Macron’s raw remarks immediately raised a round of reactions from opponents on the left and on the right who denounced “insults” which “divide” the French.
